mr factory boost gauge question

i am currently trying to install a bunch of parts i have gathered up over last few months.

i am putting in a mbc along with intake. there are two ways to hook up the mbc that i have seen. either into turbo nipple or into bov line to intake manifold.

My question is this.

Is either way of hooking it up going to bypass my mr boost gauge. i am thinking i would like to run it to turbo nipple and cap off my wastegate actuator which would eliminate boost tube going to intake(i dont have the grommet on the intake, that is why im going this route. )

i dont want to hook up my mbc if i dont have a working boost gauge so can someone shed some light for me?

Thank you.

hooking up a mbc should have absolutely no effect on the gauge

so wither way of hooking it up wont affect my factory boost gauge? isnt it electronic? where does it get its reading from? i figured if i capped of my actuator with the sensor in it, the boost gauge might not work....
