Evo IX Oil Lamp shows from time to time while in idle any ideas

From time to time my oil lamp is displayin while in traffic at a stop light. The car never shuts down but tends to act like it will. I can either press the gas, then it's fine. My oil is great , not under nor over just were it needs to be. Im thinking maybe a sensor or spark plugs, you guys have any ideas? help me out if you can. Car is stock right now, 32, 0000...took it to mitsu to do 30,000 mile check up they didn't find anything. Still happening after check up

Oil pressure sensor on the backside of the block under the intake manifold. Replace it.

+1 BUT - make sure your idle speed is correct first, should around 900-1000 rpm. If its too low, oil pressure will also be low and the light will flicker.

could be the above--however, its 100+ in new mexico, oil gets thinner when its warmer causing the light to come on as pressure will drop with a thinner oil. Run 10-40 in the summer and prob will go away.
