So ive been hearing these ACT clutch locks up. Is it true? Just wanna know before i get one.

 

I have run to ACT's on Two Evo's. My Evo VIII had an HDSS, never locked up. My IX MR has a XTSS, never locks up. Make sure it is adjusted properly, done.

 

Adjust the clutch and they are great. I love my HDSS.

 

If you install it right AND break in the clutch, it shouldn't lock out. Even after installing a clutch right, ppl tend to beat on it right away without break-in and those are the ones that get the lock out. Sadly, I'm one of them.

for every person that has a problem there is a person that has not a single issue

I've never had a single issue with my ACT HDSS clutch after 21k miles
