Also the car has an oil leak from the oil pan and the turbo return line. I checked the oil level before i took it in and i didn't see any difference in level. i did see that it was dark and needs to be change. Also he said that # 4 cylinder is missfiring. so i think i purchased a lemon .
Your normal factory warranty should cover this, I couldn't see how it couldn't. Having a leaking manifold gasket and you never took it off is not normal...
although you should know exactly what the codes are, documentation is an important key.

I believe a 'lemon' must have the same problem that can't be fixed multiple times to fall under the lemon law.

I miss my subaru now. Never had any problems with it ever even with over 80,000 miles on it. I know i shouldn't judge evos in general because of the dud a purchased.

to have the lemon law come in effect you must be the original owner of the car and it has to go into the shop 3 times for the same problem and still not be fixed

well i contacted the dealership and it looks like it the car is still under factory warranty and it might cover most of the repairs . Am waiting to hear from the dealership to see whats goin on and if it will be repaired today . The misfire on cylinder 4 might be cause from a broken sparkplug wire cover allowing water in .

Got the car back today and it seems to be acting the same. The gasket at the down pipe was replaced and there wasn't any exhaust leak at the manifold according to the mitsubishi dealership. There is still the misfire in cylinder 4 and the oil leak at the oil pan and turbo return line. MY original problem was what it looks like am loosing boost some where along. The car accelerates perfect until i get to higher boost and then it feels like the turbo spools and am not getting nowhere. It feels like a non turbo car. Would the cylinder misfire (bad spark plug on cylinder 4 ) the oil pan leak and oil leak at the turbo return line have to do would loosing what i think is boost st higher engine rpms. Some one please help this noob . Am checking the oil level at the motor and i don't see any difference in level after i checked it .
