Pull the code, check your vac lines and your IC pipe.

That's the first step, once you have the code(s) let us know.

I'm 99% sure I got that too... I never pulled the codes but nothing was ever wrong with the car besides it bucked twice on two different pulls and nothing ever happened after.

Do you mean the maintenance light as in for oil changes or check engine light?

Autozone will pull (but not clear) the codes for free.

Checker Auto Parts will allow you to borrow the scanner and clear the code for free.

The mechanic didn't give me the specific codes but he said that the car has a leak in the manifold . Has to change the gasket that the warrenty that i purchased would not cover this like i figuerd it wouldn't . The car has 43,000 miles would the factory warrenty cover this? Also the car has an oil leak from the oil pan and the turbo return line. I checked the oil level before i took it in and i didn't see any difference in level. i did see that it was dark and needs to be change. Also he said that # 4 cylinder is missfiring. so i think i purchased a lemon .
