Another sad aspect is that the car seat isn't even installed correctly. That dock has the standard LATCH anchors, and EVOs have LATCH points, but it's just in there with the seat belt. If it was using the LATCH points, it wouldn't be crooked like that.

Not that I am on his side at all, what he did was wrong, but he did have more reason to run than just 15 mph over.

Yelling out that your child is in the car seems like a clever tactic, as long as there isn't actually a child in your car.
