Evo Cop Chase Crash in Manassas, VA
Evo Cop Chase Crash in Manassas, VA
You would think people would drive more cautious with an 8 month old baby in an Evo or any other car for that matter. Please drive safely with little ones in the car. They shouldn’t pay for your mistakes. And please don't get carried away about the whole radar thing. If you are focused on that, then you are really missing the point here.

"MANASSAS, Va. - Quick action by a police officer may have saved a baby's life Thursday morning in Manassas.
At around 5:45 a.m. on Yorkshire Lane, Officer Health Oyler, a seven-year veteran of the Prince William County Police department, was using his radar gun to catch potential speeders. Police say Oyler flagged down a car going 40 mph in a 25 mph zone.
The car didn't stop.
Oyler says he lost track of the car as it turned onto West Rugby Road. A few minutes later, the car had crashed into stone pillars on someone's front lawn in the 8500 block.
With the car's engine on fire, Oyler says the driver tried to run -- but fell down -- and then shouted, "my baby is in the car!"
"I left where he was, and ran over and was able to find a door that was open and get the baby out of the car."
The eight-month old girl, who was in a car seat, was taken out quickly with no injuries. She has been reunited with her mother.
The driver, Gustavo Adolfo Diaz-Bautista, 23, was seriously injured and is in the hospital in stable condition. He has been charged with driving with a revoked license, eluding police and child abuse and neglect. "

really? I mean come on, REALLY??
not only do you RUN from a cop over a silly 15mph over the limit ticket, but you crash the ******* car and then run AGAIN, leaving your BABY behind in it, while its BURNING?
REAALLLLLY?
I'm in shock ... i cant believe that someone would be so idiotic that they would actually do this .. running from a cop is one thing, running after a crash is another (both horribly stupid) .. but doing it with an 8 month old in the car and leaving her behind? I hope this guy gets a long time in jail .. this is why you should need a license to have kids ..
My heart goes out to the baby, mother and family. I just pray that the baby is safe and healthy, cause if that crash (which looks pretty bad) hurt him, think about what it would do to a 8month old who can just now start to hold her own head/neck up ...
Just, wow ..

Holy crap!! Ran and left the baby in the car!!! What a complete loser!! To put a baby in harms way like that for going 15 mph over the speed limit is just simply crazy!! Hell, to put a baby in harms way in any driving situation is absolutely ridiculous!!
I hope the driver gets what he deserves.

What person is honestly willing to run from a light speeding infraction and leave his own child in a burning car?
But then again, it doesn't look like an engine fire, and the news is hyping up a smoking car (i.e. broken radiator) and saying it was burning. Gotta love news.

its like I told a lot of people just because, you have a fast car doesn't mean you gotta speed/drive around like a maniac, just drive normally
and he forgot the baby in the backseat which is even worse

Wow what a bastard!!!!! Hope he gets what he deserves, it's because of idiots like him that we get wrongfully picked on by the police sometimes... One idiot ruins it for the rest of us...
