Evo 8/9s have the same turning radius as 02/03 lancers?

As title says, just wondering, as I hear evos have bad turning radius. I have a lancer at the moment, and should be buying an evo soon, once a few things pan out.

Not in the right section, sorry,

Not the same. Swapping steering racks would lose that "tight feel" evo's have

And yes evo's have a wide turn radius

You won't care about the steering radius, I promise. Unless you're constantently in really tight parking lots.

Anyone know if switching to thinner tires would reduce the wide turning radius?

Pretty much anything awd or 4wd will have poor turning radius unless whatever it is comes equipped with all wheel steering like monster trucks. Take a 2wd truck out with a push button 4wd and watch your radius go out the window. I dont own a lancer but I would expect them to have a better turn.

I never felt it was so bad that it was a deal breaker

I can think of two occasion in three years that it actually caused a minor issue

The only thing it does is make parking in a tight spot a PITA and doing U-turns on small roads.

It does sucks in U-turns, even worse if you have 9.5 wheels.
You almost need 3 lanes to do a U-turn lol

Oversteer is the cure to a wide turning radius.

Quick Reply: Evo 8/9s have the same turning radius as 02/03 lancers?
