Lancer Evolution VIII MR Edition
Its a new color. That's it. Instead of the stock KYBs, they have Bilsteins. Half of the list is suspension. The ugly gap is still there also. But for you ricers . . . Eat your heart away.

Aesthetics aside...
If this car comes here, I'd be all over the active diffs. Yeah, maybe not worth the money to incorporate into our current 8's, but if it comes with the car? I'll take it!
And the car seems to be lighter in every aspect too..
Not sure if I like those multispoke rims though - but then, it'd be easy enough to pick up a set of stock Enkei's.

I don't think we get it. They can't even sell the ones they have right now, this would just make it harder for them to sell the old ones. I think this car was a flop from
standpoint. Anyone know how many they have sold?

not to blow my boy's spot at mitsubishi, last week when i went to trade in my lancer for a BMW M3 he told me to wait until the middle of 2004 because mitsu was going to release a new 8.5 Evo with a new body on it. I don't think that this is the car, but this is what he told me and of course i didnt buy the M3 and I am waiting patiently for more information from him....i have a TG lancer and that evo looks sick in that color! i will post what i can from what i hear from him, but regradless this evo is sick!
that is actually the exact color i wanted to get my car in, and it does look sick with the blacked out lights, I think i am just gonna save some $$$ and paint mine...but ya that definatly is nice.
they have trouble selling some of the evo's that is left. I doubt they would bring this over because it will be bank compared to the current us evo. I'm saying all this because I bought an evo already so it would suck for people like me
and wouldn't be able to afford this one.
and wouldn't be able to afford this one.
The more I think about it, the less likely they are to bring that here. The Evo has already "trumped" the STi in the states - there's no reason for Mitsu to finance the re-engineering of this car to be released state side. Also, with the car having both ACD/AYC, they'd have to retrain all the techs again to work with these, which is not something easily done, I don't think...
