When Did you get your first evo??
I got my IX when i was 18 im 19 now i paid 27k cash after my settlement money as a way to pay my father a tribute he was a big car guy and i couldnt think of a different way to memorialize him. 
got mine at 29 !!! .. (you teenagers make me feel old 
). Between the evo and my wife's brand new minvan, I owe the bank $44k+ ... Just dont have anything to tow my ski boat with anymore :P

Bought my 2006 Apex Silver Mitsubishi Evolution for $26,000 + TTL in 2008.
It had 20,000 miles on it, it worked perfect, showroom condition.
Dropped $10,000 cash, rest on finance.
When I bought it I was a 24 year old U.S. Army Sergeant.
You guys are some young-uns when you got your Evos.
Just make sure you are ready for the:
1) Insurance & 2) Upkeep (Evos are maintenence ******)
Just a word of warning. Don't be suprised if your monthly insurance is $300.00+
A 15/16 year old with a "4 Door, 4 Cylinder, ***TURBO***" doesn't look well in insurance companies eyes.
Besides that, go for it.

Second car was at age 18, 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. (I bought)
Third car was at age 19, 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. (I bought)
Had the GSX for a few months. Suddenly I wanted an Evo, so I traded my Eclipse + cash (loan) for it!
I'm in love with it so far and will have it for a while!
