Question Swapping struts and springs from IX SE to VIII GSR???

Hey guys, I got a quick question. I have 03 VIII, and i am looking into buying a set of stock IX struts with Tanabe GF210's. They are coming off of a IX SE... and my question is will these even fit on my car? I searched and couldn't find a definite answer. I found that the MR set up is different than the GSR set up, but still not sure about the SE vs. GSR, and the 9 to 8 difference if any.

Any help would be appreciated!
I have a blown front right strut and I can get this set up cheaper than buying a single replacement KYB strut.
