Evo VIII and Evo IX Suspension Question

Hello, I have a 2003 Lancer Evolution VIII GSR with lowering springs and I want to raise it back to stock height or similar. Will 2006 Lancer Evolution IX MR OEM springs fit my car with no modification. I want to add new shocks and struts but I also want these OEM springs to bring it back up to stock height. I just want them to fit directly to replacement struts with no mods, will they? Thanks a lot.

Since you are wanting to add new shocks and struts, get the Bilstein HD's and use the OEM MR springs. This will give you a stock MR ride height. Ride will be like the OEM Bilsteins even though the Bilstein HD's are valved just slightly stiffer.

The Bilsteins are much better in compliance and in handling than the stock KYB struts.

IF you decide to get slightly stiffer springs , I would go with the GTWorx springs as they only lower 1/2 " but are ~300 lbs.

Thanks a lot for your input. I ordered a pair of stock springs and I'm going to get those put on. As for the bilsteins, that sounds great. I really appreciate your advice. Thanks
