Help with offset and fitment

Hey guys,

So I am looking to buy a set of wheels, not sure if I want SSR or another set of Enkei. Not really sure still looking around. My question was if I want to run a 18x9.5 wheel maybe an 18x10. what offset will I need to fit them? I am on H&R lowering springs and have plenty of wheelgap. I would just like a flush fitment. Also what size Spacers would I need to take the stock wheels and make them flush?

Thanks!

its not the springs but the front strut body. both of those sizes require either rolling and pulling or narrow tires to clear the strut and fender. 9.5" might be ok with just a roll or slightly narrow tire, e.g. a 245 or 255, if you buy a wheel that can be snugged right up to the front strut.

I'm on RPF1 17x9.5+38 255/40 RS-3's with no rolling nor rubbing.
20mm front spacers & long studs are required though. I've also got a pretty aggressive alignment (-2.7deg camber, 5.6 deg caster, 0 toe), GTWorx springs, etc.

YMMV

Thanks for the Info!

Do you have any pics? I would rather not go with a lot of camber but if it works it works haha. 18x9 is my probably main option right now. I dont mind running spacers if I have to would rather not though. I am on H&R springs but probably going to be switching to ISC Coilovers since I get a good discount on them

Also sorry but how did you adjust caster?

Too open of a question. From my experience, a 9.5" wide wheel needs to have an offset of 30-35 mm to have sufficient distance from the front strut while requiring minimal fender rolling/pulling. I'm not sure what's needed for the rear trailing arm clearance. Any less offset will require more rolling/pulling. Any spacers that are use will of course decrease the offset.

Im sorry I must not understand. When adding a spacer doesn't it increase the offset? adding a 10mm spacer to a wheel that is +25 doesnt that make it +35? I just want to know if I need anything to get these wheels I have to fit

Nope. Its the other way around. Higher wheel offsets move the rim towards the interior of the car. For example, a +25 mm offset with a 10 mm spacer is effectively a +15 mm offest.

Your question is a bit to open to fully nail this down. The only mechanical reason to run a spacer is usually to overcome the front calipers.

If this wheel (unknown make or style) has a concave type of spoke design then they may fit over the front calipers (no spacer needed)

Now, if youre asking if the 18x9.5 +25 will fit thats another question. +25 is considered an aggressive offset & will require rear fender work. Lets say you run a mild 255/35, this will need the full rear fender treatment in my book (roll, pull & maybe a bumper bolt). Note: Based on stockish rear camber setting

Front fitment, although you may get some liner rub maybe OK w/no work needed. But if the wheel does not fit over the calipers & need to run a spacer then serious front fender rub maybe an issue

I am looking to see these and buy maybe 18x9.5 +25 Comis wheels which are concave wheels

Contact the EVOM vendor "Importimage". They sell Cosmis. If he doesnt know, you should find a local vendor in your area to do a test fit
