Rota DPT's 18x9.5 +35 FITMENT ISSUES

Thinking of getting these wheels in this fitment Rota DPT's 18x9.5 +35 with 265/35 18 tyres however i am not to sure about the fitment as on most evo x's i have seen these rims with +22 offset. Just want to know if i would need to roll the fenders or any issues that i might have going for this size as i want the concave look rather then the flat..thanks

+22 would give you more of a concave look than +35. +35 will be closer to the suspension (sit in more away from the fender). You will have less of an issue with fenders if you go +35 instead of +22 (in fact, you probably wouldn't have to roll the fenders at all). However, the real question is whether there will be enough clearance on the inside edge of the tire to the suspension etc. Maybe someone else will know the answer to that...

Get the +22. If it comes down to it, pay a little money to roll the fenders. Trust me, it will look better.

there will be enough clearance with 18x9.5 +35....I've seen a guy run 18x9.5 +35 wedssports tc105n and it cleared fine with no spacers

OP, make sure that the ROTA DPTs clear our front brembo calipers...because I know for a fact they will clear the front suspension....but who knows about the caliper...its all in the design of the wheel....some wheels have much more friendlier spokes that clears big calipers like ours

Thanks for the input guys. Been looking around the forums and came across the Weds SA-55. I am in love with those and started saving up for them! Dont get me wrong Rota's are great wheels and i have had a set on my S15 Silvia but for the X i am definitely going for the Weds. Any suggestions on the tires? Its a DD and maybe once in a while light track action!

IMO, i would roll my fenders. You not rolling them is a no-no, especially if you're on coils and dropped a bit low. Also if you plan to track your car, you will want to roll the fenders for some suspension travel.
And i wouldn't go with Rotas, but by all means it's your car. Also, the less offset you go, the more "concave face" get. Higher number less concave, you get the idea, ha.

So if I go buy Rotas in the 18x9.5 +22 size and I have Swift springs, I'm going to have to roll my fenders?

It may depend on the brand of tires you go with.

Mirxa best thing to do is contact davon at Wheeldude he can tell you what's the best offset at right tire size and if you really need to roll your fenders and he's a real nice guy to deal with!

I have 18x9.5 +22 dpts with 265 35 18s and i only had to slightly roll the rear fenders. The fronts werent a problem at all. My car is considerably lowered also.

What coils or springs do you run?
