Where do I buy struts?

Almost immediately I after I purchased my Evo, I installed the BC Racing coilover set. While I'm sure this set is nice in some areas, in Wisconsin it lasts about 1-2 years tops before the salt completely corrodes everything. I tried another aftermarket set and found the same result so I finally wised up and went back to stock. I currently run stock suspension with aftermarket springs and it's perfect. Starting about a week ago, the front corner started dipping more than the rest of the car, it's quite bouncy too. I assume I need new struts, right? I'd like to stick with OEM unless someone can recommend a good reason for switching, an alternative would have to be OK in the snow and salt.

I found these, but I'm not sure which would fit my 2003 Evolution VIII. Is this a good place to buy them?

Strut Front Lancer: $52.91
Strut Front Lancer w/ Turbo: $247.22

I assume this means the w/ Turbo is the Evolution? The website isn't very specific. Figures it would be five times more expensive :P

Thanks in advance!

I'd say it is very likely you are correct. I remember when I wrecked a strut on my DSM and a new one from Advance Auto was $25. BTW, if one is bad I don't know of any reason to replace two. These struts seem to spontaneously fail rather than wearing out.

If they are inexpensive I'll replace all four. Thanks for the tip, I'll drop by Advanced Auto, see what they have.

Also, if you want to stay on coil overs, look in to the KW's. They have a stainless steel option.

Awe, bummer, didn't see this post until after I purchased the set from Advanced Auto. So check this out.. not only did they give me LANCER struts (yes, when I picked them up I said, "Evo, EVOLUTION, not just Lancer" and they said yes yes yes). Surprise, they were very not for an Evolution. I ended up saying 'to hell with it' and ordered OEM replacements for like ~$300 per corner. Oh well, no more rotten aftermarket junk.
