WAyY too much air going back into the turbo

I have an old ssqv bov on my car running atmospheric and when i shift i can here the "stutter" which is the air flowing back into the turbo, would a new BOV fix this problem?

Yes get the Evo IX metal diverter valve. Atmospheric valves are terrible for these cars due to the stock MAF. If you want to run an atmospheric blow-off valve then get speed density but until you switch your ssqv out for a diverter valve, you might/will experience stalling and fluttering.

It doesnt stall because i have the area on the intake blocked. I ran the synapse recirculation on my STi and that did good. I wanted to use that BOV on this car as well
