Dumb lady tboned me today. totaled? or fixer uper

Long story short, lots of traffic going opposite direction. Was waiting to make a left. The opposing left and middle lane was backed up to the intersection. Light starts to turn yellow. I start to creep my way threw the cars, then as I am going threw, I hear a screeching tires and boom iam a bobble head doll.
Sorry for the crappy pics, I can post more tomorrow if you want. I have a headache, jaw ache, back ache, and all kinds of other aches, but overall iam all good.
Whats some opinions on the level of damage? How much you think itll cost to be repaired?

It's only going to cost you whatever your deductible is. As far as the damage it doesn't look that bad. The real test will be once they get it up in the air to see if the frame has been bent. Mine is also in the shop after an accident and the total came to ~$6000.

How bad was the damage for $6000? I am guessing its gonna be about $15,000? Replacing 2 doors and other parts around cant be cheap...

Front bumper, front left lower control arm, tie rods, various supports, and fmic. The parts list came to less than $3000, but labor and painting added the rest. My saving grace was my Beatrush aluminum underpanel. That $315 piece of aluminum saved my oil pans and everything else underneath there. Granted it's a bent piece of scrap now, but I ordered a new one to replace it.

Were you cited for anything? My guess is that you didn't have the right of way to enter the intersection?

I was wondering why this story sounded familiar, then I saw your location. I read your post on the TRSCCA board. Hopefully you get the car fixed soon.

Thanks. I was told it should be ready next week. Are you going to the two-day autocross event this weekend? I'll be there in a buddy's Evo.

No, too much other stuff going on this weekend. I'll come back out now that it's not 100+ deg outside. I've had my fair share of events, dying in the heat.

I had the same side swipe like you. I got only 4500ish since I request to get the check and paid towards my principal I got around 4200. Locate two doors and side skirt. Cost me around 1200 to replace parts. Shouldn't be that much if I didn't get rip off by a member in here except he's no longer a member due to a lot of people got rip off by him. He may still be in as a diff name though. He's from AZ and his email is jdmcivic something like that.

For your situation, I would let the bodyshop fix her up for you. GL

it would take pretty much damage to total an 06 evo. I was told they will go to 80% of the value so almost 16K in damages.

I'll personally vouch for that. I dunno the reason they didn't total it - but I reached about $14,000 in repairs. My body shop was outstanding, took long as hell - for which I'm truly grateful, and the car is better than new. Been three years to the day almost.
