That's wild! A buddy of mine here in Cali was installing a turbo timer in his Evo and thought he messed something up because his car wouldn't start. It turned out that a rat (or something) chewed threw the wire to his crank-angle sensor.

A couple of mice had chewed through one of the ignition wires to my old V6. My car was running, I went to check on it, stupid me, forgot to turn it off, saw the nest of leaves and twigs, reached in to remove it and YOWW!

I can't garage Chun Li because my apartment complex doesn't have any. She's in a car port, but there aren't any nearby fields or anything. Terrible haha

Actually, only the 03 didn't have them. The 04 and 05 VIII did. And you're right, there is a slot, but you have to get a filter.

Get one, you have a room for it, don't let it be empty! Filters out dirty particle in the air.

Nice... I found mouse turds on the fresh air side of my cabin filter too. I had mold smell so I ran the heater for 1/2 an hour to dry everything and kill it. That and every 10 minutes sprayed some lysol in the cowl vent.

I do not know how the mouse got down there, but he left, luckily. I park the car at the airport for 3 weeks sometimes, must have thought it was a good place to be.
