Here it is. I was hoping for some feedback if anyone has ordered one of these.

What are the pros and cons?

Yea thats my main concern. I had heard bad things about the jdm ix rear bumper replica on ebay... I'm hoping this one has a better reputation.

I had gone thru this same dilemma.. a few months back.. I look everywhere called everywhere and found out about the materials.. the stock replacement "aftermarket" bumpers.. I was concerned witht he materials being that ive had a kitted car before and had to deal with fiberglass (SUCKS). stress fractures.. bending yada yada.. This is the duraflex so its more stable and stronger.. BUT is still fiberglass based! I opted to just go with a brand new one form Mitsu... yes its expensive i believe it was 1100 unpainted (white) so had to pay another 300 for SE lip.. then 400 to have em both painted at the mitsu dealer.. so keep that in mind.. BUT its perfect and dont have to worry about CRACKING the whole bumper if i bottom out.. or chipping to the fiberglass.. IF you can.. use your insurance! thats what i did.. my deductible is 500 so thats all I paid.. think about it

hope this helps
Cheers

I bought my Evo with a bumper just like this and I'm still not sure what kind it is. Looks almost exactly like that but with a molded lip color matched on it. Mines fiberglass and it fits kind of crappy but it still looks ok. Wish I could afford a genuine IX bumper though and I'd get rid of this in a heart beat

fiberglass body kits are fine. i have used/own plenty of them. Now can you get spider cracks stress marks etc. Yup of course depends on what your doing. I have seen duraflex body peaces get torn ripped etc it happens have to watch how/where your driving to be honest.

I dont plan on abusing it. I was just hoping for good fitment and quality. Do you have one from this particular company?

i can tell you as far as abody man what i have heard about extremedimensions. there fitment sux completely. The quality of product at hand is good but whats the point if i have to overhaul the bumper to make it fit. LOOK into AIT RACING. they make a replacement evo 9 front bumper that i know of. The only real issue is the bumper will come extremely rough. Will require some prep work to paint not just a sand and shoot more like sand gel sand gel type deal.
