Tach/Speedometer Guage lights

I recently purchased a Evo and the lights in the Tach/Speddometer guages are not that bright when the dial knob is for max brightness. I am thinking of replacing the blubs but I am not a hugh fan of the orange lights. I wanted to know if I am able to get different color blubs to change the light? Or are the OEM lights white and its the face of the gauges that give it the orange color?

Also has anyone changed there gauges and used the following products that I found on ebay? If you have used them was it an easy install?

pull out the bulbs and take the condoms off them that will brighten them up...you could also color in the bulb with a sharpie for a different color effect

there is a member on here that did guage over lays. his name is Trustz. If you look in my sales rating i think hes giving me a rating when i bought mine. He has ones that are white, blue, and green. Mine are blue and i love them. They aren't condoms for the lights or cheap over lays that use the factory lights. His have their own power source so they are nice and bring and aren't the ugly orange. I can post pics of mine if you want. On top of that the lancer sign is changed to evolution. I would strongly recomend them. He's a great guy.

He sells them on ebay under the same name but if you can't find them on there u can just pm him on here and ask him. BTW they are like 90 i think, well worth it in my opinion tho, they are really good quality.

btw use vampire taps to install it and on the tab the grey wire from the blue harness since the electric thing from the guage kit make a small whine!
