anyone seen, or felt CF leather? If so is it soft? stiff? realistic?

Kinda doesn't look very pliable from the pic below, the way its rolled up like that

 

that looks like the 3m carbon fiber Vinyl not leather

does that come from carbon fiber animals?

 

u mean carbon fibre look alike leather and not actually real carbon fibre???

 

thats just the frabric when people do the seats or door pannels. Also they use this to do carbon fiber parts like fenders, hood ex.

Theres a custom interior place by my work, i talked to the owner and he showed me the material they have, one is the carbon fiber vinyl the other was acuatally carbon fiber in a very weird weave, he said its woven in a special way or something to act like if it was cloth, but man did it look nice and was it sure expensiveee..

 

all carbon fiber is like a cloth.... it just has resin on it to make it hard(thats what she said)
