Where would I get another lip? I already have the APR on my IX. This one was for my girl's IX. If I already had a used one why would I buy another one?

I have a very good feedback on my Seller's Rating. I have no reason to try to "scam" you. I just wanted a nice CF lip. You sent me crap.
I also have no reason to scam you, for $300 bux man come on let's be serious. That's not even worth it. The thing cost $107 to fuggin ship!!

it'd be one thing if I DD my evo or auto-x it or anything. The thing has been sitting in a parking spot untuned for the last 3 months. I decided to sell some parts on there and get it back on the road. These are the pics that I had in the for sale thread, eve-slow claims to have such an "eye to detail" if the damage that he claims was there it would have been evident in the pics that were in the for sale thread and he should not have purchased it if "Said" damage was there.

Second, he had me send to his parents house I believe and it was then he claims he notified me of the damage to the lip. He also stated that he threw away the box and that it was in perfect condition. So i'm to assume that and take his word that the box is in pristine condition. If I bought something damaged and wanted to prove to the seller that the item was shipped damaged I would take a picture of the contents and box to show that damage was not caused by shipping. UPS won't honor the insurance on the lip without the box, so that puts up both at a detriment. Had eve-slow seen the lip the way he's presenting it the minute he opened the box he should have held onto the box. For all I know he put it on the car hit a curb by mistake and now is trying to unload the lip on me again.

I'm an honest seller and have been on these boards for 3 yrs and have sold many things all without fault or problems. I would never sell anything like that damaged because I wouldn't want it to happen to me. I have many people that can vouch for my car and for that lip.

Here are the pics from the for sale thread:

Here are the pics of the passenger side of the lip he shows as damaged:

Here's a pic of the lip ON my car THE DAY I posted it for sale with the passenger side:

no offense a blind man can see there is no damage on the edge of the lip that now eve-slow claims is damaged. You can clearly see that the weave extends all the way through the edge of the lip and that my bumper nor the lip is damaged. I can take pics of my bumper right now and show there are no scuffs or scratches where they should be had I "hit a curb" or had "daily driven it into something" The damage eve-slow claims would ruin the integrity of the lip and thus it would he hanging off my car. There are mounting points where that damage is which if the damage was there before I shipped it, it would be evident in the pictures I took for the sale thread.

I refuse to be drug through the mud on this and have someone accuse me of being a dishonest seller.

Now I want to hear people's opinions. There are 2 sides to every story my friend.

I say its from daily driving.. but my only guess that lip he sent u has been on his car and it was from daily driving hitting curbs and the concrete blocks in the parking lots and he gave u a pic of a better looking lip that way on another car, he was saying it was his... He is saying that it was caused in shippin but there is no way in hell shipping could have caused that unless fed ex or ups let it hang out the back door going down the road lol gl hope u get it resolved

there is no way in hell that I took a pic of a better lip off a better car, i'll go outside right now and take a picture of my lip-less evo IX front end. Did I steal someone's license plate and put it on my car too?! come on

thats the same lip he shipped him. those are his plates on his car. his car has been sitting for months due to some issues his came across. he has a daily driver so he doesnt drive the evo as often as some of us.

ive known him for years he has no reason to rip anyone off. i dont know about the corner but that one pic looks like a knife of some sort cut the lip.

considering both members have been on here for years, I'd say maybe it was shipping. Kinda hard to believe tho.

I honestly won't think AJ would sell a damaged product and go through all the trouble of actually posted pics to defend his honesty. A picture speaks louder than words, the lip is on his own car, same plate as well. Obviously in good condition, it cannot be returned in that atrocious condition in the OPs pics, come on let's use some common sense here.

im calling BULL****TT on the seller. theres no possible way in hell if it was bubble wrapped that it got scrapes like that if the box was in good condition... who knows though.. maybe the shipping company ran around the parking lot and scraped it on the blacktop for fun. if it had just been the broke corner id say shipping, but then again the guy has good feedback... this is a tough one.

From my experience shipping lips and things in general....one would be incredibly shocked what can happen to your items in transit. Seriously, this is nothing surprising in my min at all. How tough is the box/cardboard the lip was sent in? It had to go from NY to IL? That's a lot of time for things to get fcked up in the shipping centers.

The biggest question I have for both seller and buyer is if either of you had the intelligence to OVER INSURE or INSURE the lip in general in case something like this happened. It's a few measly dollars to have a lip completely compensated for by the logistics company be it whichever one it was.
