Sold my evo last week, planning another already, addicted?
I sold my much loved evo last week, i spent a lot of time and a lot of money on her over my 5 years of evo ownership. she will be missed. pics of her below.(not to everyones taste but each to their own)
Reason for sale was due to emigrating abroad, now that i am almost relocated, i have my eyes on a couple of evo's for sale in my new home town, i want to do it all again, yess i lost a lot of cash with all the mods etc but hell its worth every penny.
I have tried to put my mind off it over this last week but it doesnt happen, i think it is safe to say i am very much addicted to the dark side!
I want to make my new evo even quicker!
Edited to say some of the pics below are from a car mag photoshoot hence the dodgy name at the bottom.

I am from Scotland in the UK, in the process of re locating to south east asia
The engine had rods chaged in situe to eagle and ran an e9 turbo with meth on 99 ron fuel, 272 cams, modular downpipe, she held around 1.8 bar with meth and held 1.65 bar with just pump.
It was a great setup for fast street use and the occasional track day

my plan is to this time round leave her looking 100% stock but a built stroker and gt35. going in a different direction from the last one sounds like a promising way to keep things varied and interesting

Sounds expensive... maybe want to stick to one evo if possible and get it fixed up / finished as opposed to building new ones each time you relocate and spending even more $$

I bought my first Evo 2 weeks ago and can see as to why you are addicted. They are amazing machines. I know I won't buy something else unless its a supra (drove one and loved them as well).
Yeh but i cant help that i would have loved to keep my evo or take it with me but that wasnt possible due to import regulations.
Have my eyes on a nice stock 2004 jdm 8 with 20k on the clock.
I admit, I'm looking for a good shape IX, but not because I'm addicted, but because it is the only thing close to the performance of my current car, while also saving me money on car payments. Chances are looking like I won't be finding one though.
it'd be nice to have a old time contributing member back full time
There are a lot of good used IX on these forums... I'm sure you have looked though already.
Sorry, I'm not flying or driving to pick one up, nor am I paying to ship it. Don't want one THAT badly. I'm trying to save time and money here. I suppose I should see if someone is willing to pay for the shipping or drive down here. All the used IXs around here are MRs (so Chaotic's wouldn't work) and are priced horribly.
