It's unlikely that anyone is going to undercut Buschur, simply because Buschur won't want any price competition from the companies he sells his parts to... if you're looking for a deal I'd suggest lurking on the forums on his site. I got a 50% discount on a catback in exchange for helping him with his axle back development (loaned him my car for a day)

We have a couple of vendors selling our parts.

I guess my question is why are you looking for someone other than us to buy them from? Is it a discount you are looking for?

I am sure you can see from our prices that we don't over inflate them, I think we are about the cheapest you will find, when you consider the quality of the parts I am sure we are.

The retail prices are kept about as low as we can go which leaves even smaller amounts of profit for our wholesalers to make. Getting a discount might be a tough thing to find. We did just post a new Package price for our Staged upgrades though.

Thanks,

David Buschur

I don't want this to turn ugly but... Your parts are indeed nice but I can't justify the unearthly pricing on them for the life of me! I purchased a set of front and rear STB's for my Talon, they were shipped out to me promptly, I opened the box and saw that they were identical to my friends "Pilot Motorsport" set. He has the same suspension set up as I do, and when I drove his car there was NO difference whatsoever. Except that his STB's were about 120 dollars for both of them, whereas the set I had purchased from you went for around 200 plus shipping.

Again, it was a nice product and good service, but the price was just too much IMO for a set of STBs that was VERY near (if not) identical to the much cheaper set. I have also tried to find your parts through other vendors in the hopes of saving some money but still recieving a nice product to no avail.

I'm one to ***** about the pricing of import parts for sure, but I do believe Buscher has got the best thing going when it comes to price and quality. Now if he just offered reflashes with his products...

Dave I used to work for a speed shop here in NYC and once suggested to my boss to open up an account with you so that we can sell Buschur stuff to our DSM clients...

Too bad she was too narrow-minded to do anything beyond Hondas/Acuras....but her business was doing welll anyhow catering mostly to Hondas

Dave, what's the package price? You said it was recently posted. I did a search on here and did not find anything (I may not have searched hard enough) I also took a look through your website, and did not find any package prices. Is there a package price for each stage upgrade (1,2,3,4) If there is a package price is it cheaper then buying each one of the parts in a stage upgrade seperatly. I have your stage 1, and will be putting in an order for your stage 2 in a couple of weeks. I think your products, prices, and service are great! Just want to make sure I'm not missing something. Also as a side note; any word on when you expect to have the ecu harnesses in? Thanks!

Why reflash when you can use AEM? That sounds like the way Buschur Racing is heading.

The correct question for 90% of US Evo owners is, why use AEM when a tuned reflash is more than adequate? Show me a Vendor who highly disagrees and I'll show you someone looking at your pocket book like a set of 34DD's. I'm not bashing David at all. What I am saying is there is more than enough resolution in the OE ECU to handle enough power for the weekend warrior who likes beating up on expensive Euro sports cars. If Al (not the only one) can run his 600hp beast with a flash, why can't you or I? Don’t get me wrong; there IS a time and a place for the AEM and other such solutions. My problem is it is just another $2k out of the average users pocket that didn't have to go. I've said it before and I'll say it again, 99% of Evo owners will never tune more than their radio themselves. So any aftermarket management solution is not only overkill for the average user, but also very dangerous for some that can't leave well enough alone and HAS to tinker. Now as I said, there is a time and a place, but I believe that it is best left to the avid racer/tuner.

I think Zeus has several good points. I have through Buschur stage 4 with a SAFCII, and I am scheduled for the Dynoflash Nov.1. I could wait and pay $2200 for the AEM, and probably have a little more power, and better monitoring, but right now, I can't justify the difference between that and the $450 dynoflash. Al is even going to tune the SAFC to run minor corrections off the Dynoflash for race gas. I am certainly not saying the Dynoflash is better than the AEM, but for the disparity in price, I don't think the AEM is worth the marginal hp gains and the in depth datalogging with my present set-up. My SBC can log three channels of input for short time intervals, which is adequate for my needs.

I'm sure Buschur is going to market the AEM because they are, and always have been a race shop. No one needs to question how quick or fast they are. My statements are geared toward the average owner. Hell, now that they offer a quieter muffler, the only thing keeping me from being a straight Buschur customer is the fitment of the intercooler/under tray, and no flash service. Then again, right now I'm strapped (as you younger people say) for cash and can't order anything for a few weeks... sucks to take home over $100k a year and not have extra money for parts... at the moment at least.
