How many miles were on your Evos when you picked it up?
9-point-something.
NER, my brother recently bought a 2003 Corvette Z06 with 57 miles on it from a poor fellow suffering from arthritis. He saved $10k over buying it "new."

Mine had 12 miles on it. Makes you wonder what they did for those 12 miles. They told me they where taking it to get some gas but the station is only 1 mile up the road.I am betting they did not go by the break in rules they told us about
Mine had 34.
At first i was kinda pissed but I shrugged it off. Like others have said, it has a warranty. Plus, the factory break in procedure is highly overrated. If you drive it too easy to break it in the rings will never fully seat. You'll get oil blow by and lousy compression.
How do you think they break in aircraft engines? It ain't by flying at low RPM at part throttle...

Well I know the factory break-in procedure for the brakes is WAY off, so I wouldn't be surprised if the suggested engine break-in also does more harm than good. In fact, if I had to do it over again, I would've broken it in more aggressively. Didn't matter much this time anyway because I'm sure all the test drivers didn't keep it under 5k
