Believe what you like.. It was the best of 3 runs, and I was never able to repeat the 12.93.. the other 2 runs were 13.3 and a 13.1.. Unfortunately the time was run in April of last year, I no longer have the timeslip, sorry.. And its certainly possible for an experienced driver to cut a 13.0 or better in this car.. I was fortunate that I had good weather that day. (I'm certainly not the best driver either) I do know of 2 others who actually ran quicker times.

You guys, remember there are plentf of other factors involved, like outside temp, altitude, tires, condition of clutch, fuel, etc.

Until you control for all of these factors, in ADDITION fo factoring in the variation inherent in the EVO engines, one cannot make any conclusory statements about driving ability from mere quartermile time slips.

By the by, the time that i launched at 3400 rpm, i only ran a 14.3 but still had a trap speed of 102.3x mph...can anyone explain this? I found it a bit high.

13.502@100 w/ 1000 miles in texas summer. Low 13's and possible high 12's are capable. Way too many factors to mention.

12.7 with intake is insane. You should mod your car by taking the intake off and put the stocker back on then see what time you run. Maybe a 12.5 stock. 12.7 is this Turbobars with the private track under another name.

I'm not calling you out, but a 109.5 mph trap speed is pretty hard to swallow with just an intake. What was your 60ft and 1/8 mile time/mph, if you don't mind me asking?

Believe me, it was hard for me to swallow and I was driving. Maybe I got one of the 'faster' EVO's. 0-60 1.699, 1/8 7.42. I'll try and get someone with a scanner to help me put the timeslip up.

Hey, I calculated your 0-60 mph time based on your posted 7.42 (1/8th mile) and an 1/8 mile speed of 82 mph (which is mine mph, but yours should be faster). I ran a 13.18 and ran 8.4 in the 1/8th with a 1.74 60ft (your a full second faster at half track).

My 0-60 mph 4.52
Your 0-60 mph is approximently 3.97
Your 0-60 mph with a 1/8 mile speed of 85 is 3.7

Ex) Ferrai 550 Maranello 4.2, Lamborghini Diablo 3.4

'Gulp', I dunno?
