I have the perrin 4'' short antenna an it looks nice an reception for me isnt bad at all. IMO the carbon one u have posted looks kinda odd, not to knock on your style or anything.

My car came with a s2000 antenna when I bought it and it worked great. Then I switched to the perrin 2" and it works great for all FM stations.

Got me a no-name shorty and it works and looks great.

IMO, that eBay carbon fiber one doesn't look right on top of a car. Adds too much "bling" to a car like an Evo... Unless you like bling.

Thanks for all the feedback. I was just looking for something small and not chunky. I dont want to bling my car out either. I have taken my antenna off and I still get the stations I listen to, so I think I will be fine for reception. Anyone have pics of a 2'' Perrin or the s2000 on thier car?

s2k one here on my evo (was actually on my lancer and was first part to move onto the evo). I've never listened to AM on it in either car .. FM reception is definitely not as good as stock, but thats why they make MP3 players

Everybody do yourselves a favor and just buy the 2010 OEM antenna if you don't have a 2010. It's better looking than any aftermarket one, it fits correctly unlike transferring an S2K antenna or what-have-you, and the reception is better than the original remote control car antenna.

It is also $25 if you can get it at dealer price, or $25+S&H from mitsubishiparts.net

Can you confirm that these fit on a 2006 Evo?

S2000 antenna looks stock. I have a VG so the base flushes to the VG nicely

I would go with the Perrin myself. I don't like the look of the S2K one on the Vortex.
