aftermarker valve cover?

i was just looking around and this really got me curious. i cant find any aftermarket valve covers for our cars. i just find it strange since pretty much every other part on our car has an aftermarket replacement. Im surprised there isnt anyone making a cf one. just curious if anyone has seen or heard of any, as i cant find them anywhere. thanks alot

My good guess is, the cost involved in having the mold designed & the dollars needed to have one casted up.......You bring up a good point..Think about all the old school V8 valve covers that are available.

It would take a wealthy Vendor enthusiast to pull it off

ha yea. i am going to paint my eventually but i was just curious as to why we have none. almost all older v8's have aftermarket valve covers available. but i can see your point that it would cost alot in R&D and then to actually produce them. but it could possibly make them alot wealthier once they get the mold, seeing as there isnt anything besides stock available to us. Thanks for the replies.

Just get it powder coated in the color to match your car and then you can get various styles of sparkplug covers.
