Yeah that's it. Bring it up, then let it drop then bring it up again..my car wouldn't bounce off the 2step the first time either sometimes

yes, that are the steps to getting it to work. If you are rolling what-so-ever it wont activate. Make sure you are completely stopped. You don't actually need the car in gear. Just make sure the clutch is to the floor.

I would also recommend easing into it. give it part throttle until you hit the 5500 limiter then ease onto full throttle.

i used to have intermittent times when it didn't work. Are you sure your clutch switch is plugged in? I forget which one it uses.

Also, what year is your car? Are you positive it is enabled? The 8s dont have it enabled from the factory.

i have an 05 GSR and mine is enabled from factory.
2003 and first half of 2004 (without ACD) did not have stationary rev limiter enabled from factory. latter 2004 and all 2005 8s did.

OP, are you on stock map?
did you buy the car new?

if no to either of those questions, then maybe your stationary rev limiter has been disabled or set higher than stock.

if the clutch switch isn't working then your going to have trouble starting your car...

unless you can start your car w/o your clutch depressed.
