Heated seats

Hey has anyone ever seen the heated seat kits at Heatedseatkits.com or anyone every heard of installing them on ours cars. Its pretty cheap and would give our car some sort of interior feature. They're a universal kit that supposedly goes in a lot of factory cars. thought it would be a cool idea especially for the ones who live in cold weather.

I've seen them installed on some cars before, never asked how people liked them
I Would assume they're quality of OEM heaters, but i probably wouldnt put them in my car unless it was leather

the switches were usually wired to the center console

I'm curious as well. There are many OEM's that have heated cloth seats, so I wouldn't be too concerned, but would definitely understand what temp the aftermarket kits heat up too...

Many OEM cloth seats have seat heaters, a lot of VW's do. They just are not as common in cloth seats because heated seats is quite a luxury and found mostly in luxury cars which are already equipped with leather seats.

Yeah they don.t have to be leather, The website says they the same ones that come from the factory's like acura etc. They dont burn the seat or anything unless you wire it wrong, im thinking about doing it just not sure.
