12v power in all key postions but off

I need to find a 12v switched power supply that is powered in the acc position,on, and crank position. I checked all the fuses under the hood and fuses in the car. I also checked at the ignition switch. I found a lot that power up in the on and crank position but not the acc position. I also found a lot that power up in the acc and run position but get cut off in the crank position. Anyone know where else I can look or is this power combination nonexistent in this car? I was thinking about going to the ECU but dont really like that idea.

you won't find one that gives you power in all 3 positions....the Acc is the Accessory position and that is meant to lose power when the key is cranked. That's how all cars, for the most part, are wired. The ignition wire or the wire that is 12V in the "on" position, is the only one that will give you power before crank, during crank, and afterwards. Hope that helps

I know some cars have this type of power supply. My AEM boost gauge is telling me to find a source like this to use for power.

second that, he's correct you won't find a source you can tap into that will power up in all three positions. What are you trying to power that you need it during crank?

boost gauge, got it, you should be fine with a normal accy. the brief nano second of crank won't be that big of an issue to power up a gauge during crank.

You are right about that but I do have to wait for it to callibrate before I start the car or the gauge will be off. I can live with it though. My old autometer gauge didnt have this problem and I used a power souce that was powered in the on and crank position.
