Bought mine cash....no better feeling then knowing you have the title to your relatively newer car.....don't have modification remorse

Same here. Could not start modding a car like the Evo with a payment hanging over my head.

I paid mine off last summer. Five years of payments and now the car is mine. Now you can put 700 a month into modifications. It is an amazing feeling to own a car just don't go and get in an accident.

I used to choke on 497 a month (98 ITR brand new) and 495 (relatively new SRT) and I hated it.

I went 2 years without a car got some stock money and paid for my Evo cash plus my bike. I've been paying the note on my wifes IS300. Its only been 300 and no matter what has happened (New job for me...no job for her for the last 2 years). I had another loan with the same bank and they let me refi for one more year and absorb another loan into it, lowered the interest and made the payment 250. Going to hustle and pay that off next year.

I want an S2k but I need to buy a beater soon so I'm not driving my Evo all the time. Wife wants to turbo/SC her IS so I'm looking at leasing her a CRV (she's always loved that car). I hate leasing but she always wants a different car
