The cool thing about carbon is you don't have to paint it. It looks good with every color.

I'm gonna get a carbon SE lip from rexspeed in the spring. It's not worth it for me until the weather warms back up.

Very true, I will wait also as it will only act as a snow shovel for me now.

I try not to order anything off ebay because of quality, but from what people are saying I'm ordering my front lip tonight. Just going to make sure the prep it before they paint it........ Hopefully everything fits correctly

I have the plastic IX lip on my car. It is not a plug and play install. (IX bumper)

I do like its tough-ness.

I'm interested to know how you installed yours, on the VIII.

Gordian79,

Hey I just got a lip off ebay too, did you get it from tunersoutlet by chance? Do you just remove the stock lip and screw the new lip in it's place? Thanks for the pics and info.

I just installed my non-CF urethane lip from ebay last week.
It was 100% perfect fitment. I was very impressed. It was from an ebay store baysonR. There are no holes predrilled or anything, but you just have to screw holes from the oem holes under the bumper into the lip and it sits flush.

The reason I went with this seller was because of reviews i've read on here as well as my sti friends all have ordered their lips from them.

No i got it from Projekt_racing.Its probably same lip.yep you just unscrew old lip and screw new one on.Theres rubber squares that slide right into bumper slots then you just screw it in.I took my bumper off to make easier instead of layin on your back.It takes me 2 min to take bumper off.
