Has anyone found a regular IX MR or SE lip that fits good? I don't like the one in the link.

Its really simple if you dont have undertray.Theres two bolts and two clips by radiator area.one bolt behind license plate bracket and one in same spot as license plate bracket but on opposite side.1 bolt 2 clips that hold bumper to fender on both sides of car.If you have undertray remove clips that attach to bumper.

It's actually probably no more than a 10 minute job if you don't have an undertray.

what kind of fasteners did you use? seeing as how you are just attaching a relatively thin poly through an even thinner poly its difficult to get the part to stay exactly where you want it, wasn't it?

What is the finish like on these lips?
Are they at least uniform in color, or do they have to be painted?

I'd like to have a black lip on my Rally Red IX. Would it look ok bolted on right out of the box?

I finally installed my ebay front lip for my ix, It looks good but their is a slight gap between the lip and bumper. I don't know if its because I left the lip in my car for a day or so that it may have warped it? But I haven't put all the screws in as well, still have like 4 left to put it, I think that will remove the gap completly. But for the most part it fit pretty good and looks great.
Lip costed $80-$130 paint, total of $210, Not bad, it looks good on the car.
