Help me blow some Christmas money!
So I got a nice chunk of change from Christmas and graduating college and I'm playing on spending 1 or 2 grand on some stuff for my car...it's been over a year since anything has been done and I'm getting that power itch again.
So here is a list of what I'm thinking of..
-JMFAB Intake with Perrin or Amsoil Filter? < for sure
-AEM Oil pressure and UEGO < for sure
-JMFAB 02 Dump
and
-MAP REV 2 Exhaust Manifold
OR
-AMS Intercooler for $630 Shipped ( If not, I'm planning on CBRD's done the road)
-Walbaro
- ss exhaust bolts

I'd go for this. You can specify 3", 3.5",or 4" intercooler thickness, full size or mini battery route for UICP. Comes with all clamps and couplers. Fits without cutting or modification. Only $800 right now for the full pipe set and intercooler. It doesn't work with the stock airbox though.

Skip the o2 dump and get the Megan o2 housing instead. Also, substitute the ETS 3.5" FMIC for the AMS. Those two changes alone should save you a few hundred dollars and allow your budget to be stretched a bit further with no change in final power output.

What's wrong with a 02 dump? You don't think the CBRD Intercooler with the Garret core will outperform AMS's?

Nothing is "wrong" with the o2 dump, you can just save money with the Megan o2 housing and get the same power gains. I'm not a fan of the Garrett cores due to their common leaking issues, but I feel there is nothing to be gained with a Garret core over AMS' or ETS' cores. I know AMS and ETS have both put a lot of R&D into their designs, and considering ETS' lower price and the quality of their craftsmanship I've seen in person it definitely just seems like a good choice.
Ditch the cat and go with a testpipe if you can (I am not sure what Arizona's emissions testing requirements are). Very nice looking mod list, 400whp on a DynoJet should definitely be possible once you're done.

That is a very nice price on the AMS FMIC (I assume its the new cast end-tank design)! I'd personally do the ETS 3.5" Wide-Tank (made specially for the IX front bumper) for $599 shipped though. Either way, both are very nice and proven to be very effective so just compare the specs and pick your favorite
Here is a link to ETS' sale thread if you're curious about them:

Not really helpfull in terms of new purchases but keep the mil.spec cat for sure. You lose something like 5hp over a test pipe dyno proven and keep your car legal and doesnt smell horrible.

, save you some money also. PM me if you need som help
