Im getting an evo very soon and have started to think about the first wave of mods I'd like to do and exhaust is up there. Anyone have suggestions on one thats deeper but doesnt wake up the whole neighborhood when I come home late at night. All advice is welcome and appreciated!

Whatever you get, go full TBE (turbo back) right off the bat, don't do it in stages.

Don't forget to properly tune after adding your mods.

Just left the Greddy Ti-C platform a few months ago. It is loud. Especially if you are running a test pipe or larger diameter downpipe, etc. I regret cheaping out on exhaust as my first mod, the Greddy was only like 600 back in the day (i believe) so it seemed like a good deal. As I got older, I couldn't take the drone anymore at highway speeds, and it was loud enough to just make me sick of it over time. I eventually just broke the bank and went with an ARC titanium exhaust, and have loved myself for the decision ever since. Granted, it is one of the most expensive exhausts for the Evo platform, but you get what you pay for. You can find a nice quiet one for less, which if you are on a budget, do not consider this exhaust or my suggestion, but if you have some money to spend, the ARC is a great piece, quiet, weighs like 5-8 lbs total (titanium FTW), and it is something that sets your Evo apart from others, also fits PERFECTLY with a JDM rear bumper. Every other owner that I see asks which one I run and loves the sound of it.

Good luck with your choice

The Ti-C is 850 with the downpipe n everything now, I'll take your word on it and Will DEF look into the ARC one as I really want to put on a JDM bumper sometime down the road. Thanks
