Looks like youre taking the time time fix it right. Cant wait to see it completed or at least on the road. I dont think we ever get our cars completed lol always room for more mods.

Thanks! I really had the opportunity to take this one a step further and put a complete frame rail in it thanks to the big shop we have here at Penn Tech. And talking about getting the car complete, I am doing everything I can to not tear into the motor and transmission while its out of the car! I would really love to at least build the bottom end of the engine and stick a nice clutch in there.

We will see....

nice job its always nice to see a great car such as an evo not go to waste
and props on fixing it right, so even if you sell it, the person after you will enjoy it
with no problems even if the title says salvage i have confedence that there are still people
that do things the right way..

Thanks man! Usually we just pull the frame but this car is an RS and I appreciate that. I just wanted everything to be done in a way that even a person who knows what they are looking for couldn't see where the damage was. The car is taking quite some time to be finished but it will be worth it in the end!

Ok well now that everything has been mocked up the real welding has begun. The frame rail is all welded in now and a couple more adjustments are being made to the apron so that the radiator support fits perfectly. Here are the pics...
