Project 2: Rebuilding the Salvage Evo RS

After starting to rebuild my first salvage Evo about 2 months, I have completely fell in love with Evo's and decided I wanted a 06 RS. With a little searching and a ton of money, I picked up a super clean lightly wrecked RS that is full of mods.

I am going to try to take my time and rebuild this car EXACTLY the way I want it. Hopefully my 03 will sell and I can get this car paid for and start the rebuilding!

Heres the pics after removing some parts and a bath...

Nice.......We're twins.....Have the same exact model & color......Just love the RS.....Would have liked clearer pics but I get the idea......I see the mods, the possible right side frame damage & the deployed air bags.......Hope you got a sweet deal because there is certainly going to be some $$$ involved........Keep us posted......Peace

Yeah my Storm isn't the best camera! As far as the price, I definitely paid it all but I really wanted this car. The mods helped as I didn't know they were all there. It has everything from injectors to cross drilled and slotted rotors.

Hopefully the rebuild will go smoothly. The right frame-rail isn't bent that bad so it should pull out nicely. I just need to find a care support and it should be nice!

More mysteries solved......I'm no expert, but now I can see the aftermarket exhaust mani (before, thought it was just painted or blasted), the 02 housing (change that odd bolt) & Im not a turbo expert but I can see the non standard waste gate actuator. Maybe the coil pack as well.......Still hope you got a great deal & hopefully this little beast will tune well & show some great numbers.
BTW, Before you run this make sure you have someone tap the ECU & see whats installed .......Peace

Edit.....Would like to know the make & size of the injectors
