Perrin vs AMS vs AGP vs Greddy

Who is best fmic for stock turbo evo ix ?

Perrin vs AMS vs AGP vs Greddy-24R kit vs Buschur

Perrin - ERRIN offers the largest core, the least pressure drop, the most HP gain over stock (some clients can see more than 30 WHP gain!), supports up to 1000HP
Bar and Plate core design 25"x 11.75" x3.5"
-Quality inspected
-Pressure tested
-Dramatic gains in HP and TRQ
-No cutting or hacking needed to front bumper skin OR crash beam!
-Made in the USA
-Aircraft quality core materials
-Cast end tanks for better flow and less restriction

AGP

Enhance the performance of your 2003-up Mitsubishi Evolution VIII and IX with one of the best front mount intercoolers available.

Testing of our intercooler on a 2006 EVO IX with only a turboback exhaust showed peak gains of 25 ft/lbs of torque and 25 horsepower.
The AGP Turbo FMIC features polished cast aluminum end tanks tig welded to a 24x12x3.5" bar and plate core. This assembly fits perfectly in the factory location and does NOT require you to remove or trim any portion of the stock bumper support.

AMS

This upgraded cores measures 20" x 12.4" x 3.625" and the overall length, including end tanks, is 28". The core is bar and plate design and flows a massive 1250+ CFM with a miniscule 1psi of pressure drop.
With more than 80% increased internal volume than the stock FMIC, intake flow capabilities and potential power levels are dramatically increased. In fact, a 20 horsepower or more gain or can be realized simply by bolting it on in place of your stock FMIC.
This FMIC is as large as you can fit in your Evo without major surgery. The bumper can be retained if you wish, but you will need to remove, or at least cut, the splash guard to allow for the added height of the core to come through.

Greddy-kit 24R-HG

The addition of a GReddy intercooler is an excellent way of safely increasing horsepower. By reducing the engine's inlet temperatures, a denser air charge will enter the engine; this will make more power at the same boost level. Our vehicle specific kits include all the necessary mounts, piping and hoses required to install the kit. All kits are designed to give maximum cooling capacity while allowing for minimal pressure drops. This is achieved by properly sizing the core and tuning the internal core with either a V-spec. core or with a different inner fin pattern in the R-spec core. All cores are an air-to-air, tube and fin design that does not require any specialized liquid plumbing. The end of the cores are capped off with our smooth flowing heavy-duty cast aluminum endtanks.

Part Number: 12030410
Model: Lancer Evolution 2003 - on
Desc: Front-mounted I/C Kit
Type: R-Spec (24R-HG)
Core Size: 280mm x 600mm x 76mm

Notes: For factory turbos. Greddy piping kit recommended

Buschur FMIC

We are very pleased to announce that this kit requires no cutting or modifications to the vehicle other than minor trimming of the front lower splash shield. The core is rated for 950hp with very minimal pressure drop.

Dimensions are 24 x 13 x 3.5".

We recommend using the Buschur Racing Lower IC Pipe (BR Part#: Evo-35001 sold separately) to achieve the full benefit of your new FMIC upgrade. You can add the Lower IC pipe by selecting the option below.

This in conjunction with our upper intercooler pipe kit (sold separately) saves 11 bends and a total of 36" over the factory intercooler plumbing! Less bends, less restriction, more hp! We have also accomplished another one of our goals... rather than restricting flow to the radiator for engine cooling, we have actually increased it. For those who autocross or road race, this is very advantageous.

Some of these intercoolers you have listed are way to large for a stock IX turbo.
