I was running hard and noticed a lot of smoke coming from under my 03 evo VIII, it was gear lub because my right cv shaft came out about 1/4" and seal came out also. this allowed gear lub to get everywhere. I pulled off to side of road and it died, I did get it started a few times, but it idled rough and when I gave it any gas at all it would die. I got it wreckered home and took brake cleaner thinking it might be lub had gotten in a sensor wire connector or something and lost contact. that did not help. has anybody got any ideas of something else??????????????

 

hey sucks to here that you messed up your evo i would recommend taking it to a good mitsubishi dealer to have it looked at if your not a mechanic to avoid breaking anything else
