the bodyshop actually called to ask if i wanted to upgrade the intercooler, but my car is stock engine wise except for a drop in and catback so that would be pointless. just going back with the stock one.

as for highest mileage, nooooo....i know i was the 1st IX MR, and 1st IX anywhere to hit 100k, but somebody's probably caught me by now. i also know for sure that there are EVO 8's with wayyyyy more miles than i have.

the only plans i really have for the car are to finish off the exhaust (dp, HFC, 02 housing), and to get a conservative tune. i want it to stay reliable for another 146,000 miles.

Where do all the miles come from? Long drive to work or do you just enjoy the car that much? lol

I know how you feel about the little furry creatures .. lol i live in pa and i have hit 5 deer and a bear in my 7 years of driving haha... Thankfully i have been lucky enough to hit them in my lifted jeep.. so the evo is still un harmed.. as far as the miles goes i believe in enjoying your vehicle... i bought mine to drive it .. i have 62 k on my 05 good luck with future driving and stay away from furry friends.. lol
