06 EVO IX MR 146,000 miles (56k friendly)

This thread is 56k friendly because there are no pictures yet. About two months ago I hit a medium-large sized furry woodland creature on my way home one night, and it destroyed my undertray, lower grille, splintered my authentic Ralliart carbon lip into pieces, and ripped all the mounting points for the lip. it also did damage to my fender lining.

well after waiting for parts to come in (thanks RussellM), i finally put the car in the shop to get everything fixed. The car is getting a new front bumper, JDP CF SE lip, undertray, fenderlining, grille, and i'm also having the stock hood refinished (recently took off the CF hood and went back to the stocker, but it got damaged being in storage.) I also have a few scratches here and there on the car, so all of those are being fixed as well. I've got a crack in my windshield, so that will be replaced while it's in the shop. Lastly, it's getting a fresh set of NT05's too. should be ready by next tuesday. I can't wait to have my car back to brand new status on the outside again.

i'll post pics of the car later, and fresh pics when I get it back next week.

Update: Just got it back. Only got one pic tonight, i'll take more tomorrow.

Not sure why this is in this section but oh well. Sucks that you hit an animal but I guess you can say you are lucky. Im sure the car will look great when its all done. And its nice to see that the car is still running strong. Its amazing what happens when a car is maintained.

That's alot of enjoyable driving, People say our car's are unreliable. Perfect example of what you can get out of them and more if you keep up everything.

i've actually slowed down a lot on racking up miles. at one point i was putting 5000 miles a month on the car. that's how i got the bulk of those miles. i love that car though, and i can't wait to get it back. driving the TSX just isn't the same lol

Sux about the animal lucky it wasnt too much damage. Dont bother replacing the undertray its a PITA and so not worth the trouble, it eats all my tools i drop (which is alot).
