AMS Poll: What if the F1-I was only available in black?

We are toying with the idea of powder coating all F1-I intake manifolds black. We would like to know what you guys think. The retail price would remain the same only the units would now be powder coated at no charge.

Here are some sample pics of a black powder coated unit and a non powder coated unit:

Now we would have to charge $25 extra for those looking to have the AMS logo uncoated as shown above. But having it all black would be no additional charge.

Let us know what you think

I approve of the black 100%. Maybe dumb question but would there be any heat issues?

i think that only applies to sunlight or white light due to black absorbing the different wave lengths. not actual heat (engine combustion)

I think the heat dissipation coating would be ideal if you were going black.

Personally I prefer the metallic look, but the black is sweet as well. Would un-powder coated still be an option?

Much better looking product in Black.. Now after seeing I think you should leave no option but for black only.. If someone wants to strip it they could do it very easily with aircraft remover...

Definitely like the black look better IMO, I don't need a show piece and it would blend in so to speak in the engine bay. I like the idea
