Yes he did. And I believe him, as I am on the stock clutch too.

Congrats to you, that's really great you've been able to put that many miles on the car and truly enjoy it. It looks great regardless of the miles!

I've lived through watching the DSM's turn into piles of garbage (not all of them of course) and now I am watching many of the EVO's that come in here doing the same. Poor parts choices, no care given to them, rusted, abused, it's very sad when you like the cars as much as I do. I think that's what keeps me being one of those guys who has his stuck in the garage most of the time. My '04 RS has about 9500 miles on it, the '08 EVOX has just over 5,000 miles on it. I've got a 2008 Shelby that has 1200 miles on it. I love the cars but have to admit I love them being perfect just as much.

Be nice to have one to just put tons of miles on it and drive constantly. I bought a wrecked 2003, sold it to my brother. You can't get him out of it, he's put about 40,000 miles on it in 2 years.

Again, it's very cool, can't wait to see it hit 200,000. I hope you'll take some good detailed pics of it when it does and post up a nice long post about all you've done and haven't done to it.

Yes, it was from an F50 I was doing a major service and fuel cell(every 15 years).

The car has to separate in two to access most of the stuff.

If you click on my name, my picture album is on the lower right of the page.

80% of my mileage is freeway miles, although freeway driving in LA traffic is often worse than local driving in other cities. Also rev matching when down shift, and not launching the car helps.

Did another oil change today, possibly last one before hitting 200K.

I now have 197K.
