How is that possible? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the GDI is a CLEANER running engine than most of the engines on US soil right now....

Hey don't shoot the messanger. Thats the excuse they gave us back in 1999. Something to do with the type of chemicals we have in our gas in California that makes it not meet Ca emissions requirements. That could have some BS that they were giving us, but thats what they told us dealers.
