well if i put the car in 5th at like 30 MPH it cuts out over and over. i will agree it does feel like a fuel problem.. its real jerky and then it kicks back in over and over SO ANNOYING!!!! i cant run through the gears wot without this happening now its becoming more prevalent!!

MY Mods are ( as far as i know- cause i just bought the car last week)
cat back
K@n cone
..thats it it had a couple codes tho
P0113 - air intake temp. sensor one high output
P0107 - manifold absolute pressure. low imput

i'm about to break down and take it to a dealer.
wow this is frustrating

If it was a boost leak i doubt it would randomly not work sometimes and then be fine others... If it was a leak it would also be less power... not flat like described. Sounds like something in the fuel system to me...

If you just bought the car... was it not doing it before?

Also, not sure about the laws in Florida, but in MA where I grew up, there is a lemon law that the previous owner/dealer much fix and problem for the first 1,000 miles or 1 month unless the BoS explicitly says you're buying the car knowing and agreeing upon a price because of the defect.

seems like the guy, probably had more parts installed on the car, he took them all out, and decided to leave the tune-the way it is... do not go WOT untill you get your Map checked.

to me it seems like like the car is going into a safe mode. (boost cut, etc)

also thats why it may cause your codes to pop, i would also do a boost leak test, to check for leaks.

do not go to the dealer, find local evo shop.

That sounds like a good possibility. OP, folks asked you about the tune. Any word on that?

This is frustrating the you make a thread about this, but do not provide us with any further information that we asked you to provide so we can help diagnose the issue.

sorry guys i have school all day and work at night so i can only get on here 2 times a day. i think its definitely a fuel issue, did a boost leak test, everythings good.
now i need to figure out if its the pump regulartor or injectors. i was lead to believe it may be the injector seals.. any thoughts?

wot in 5th was simply to test my theory. much like you would test for a slipping clutch. if you don't have anything helpful to add. don't say anything.

You said the car had to codes.

P0113 - air intake temp. sensor one high output
P0107 - manifold absolute pressure. low imput

Try This.

Take the K&N cone off the MAF and make sure the screen on the MAF is there and not sucked in. (if the screen is gone you will need to find a new MAF). The screen being sucked in could possibly cause the problem your experiencing. Also check the plug on the MAF make sure it's plugged all the way in no bare wires etc..

I'm assuming this isn't your problem because of your CEL's but...
Are you sure it's not misfiring? And is it either 100% or 0% or is it sometimes 50% good?
