Mine did that and it was the throttle position sensor, but it threw a CEL.

Try This.

Take the K&N cone off the MAF and make sure the screen on the MAF is there and not sucked in. (if the screen is gone you will need to find a new MAF). The screen being sucked in could possibly cause the problem your experiencing. Also check the plug on the MAF make sure it's plugged all the way in no bare wires etc..
screen is intact. everything seems to be normal.

turn the boost down. I bet you it doesn't do it. Its not the pump regulator or injectors. it is a fuel issue but you arn't gonna solve it with parts. You need to either add time to the boost cut delay timer or turn the boost down.

Are you ever going to answer the questions regarding your tune?

Do you have a boost gauge? How much boost are you running?

if you just bought the car why dont you call the guy you bought it off and ask him some questions? tell him to be strait with you so you dont screw up the car. ask what and when and what mods with the tune. you will need it redone if he put it back to stock form and just put a flash tune in. but i would call and get the low down... You have no boost controller, you don't know anything about the tune, yet you're seeing 24PSI. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have the car looked at by someone who knows Evos. Good luck.

you might have a boost controller in there somewhere. take a look. 24lbs is high for stock boost. i only spike 20lbs and drops anywhere from 16-19 depending on the gear i'm in.
