i was wondering what u guys thought of this idea. its a Genesis battery with the terminals, combined with a odyssey mini battery tray. http://www.tnrbatteries.com/pcbibpnhdb68.html. now my question is do you guys think its worth the effort to modify this tray to fit nicely? I was looking at all the different trays on the market and i thought it couldn't be so hard to buy a few L brackets from Homedepot and bend them etc... to make this work for a grand total of what some vendors trays cost.

 

i modified the factory tray to fit the odyssey mini battery. paid 99 dolla shipped for the battery off amazon. save some money sir :P

 

x2, unless your getting a jmf tray or something equally flashy, just modify the stock tray to make it fit.

 

i might go that route then
