It has happened to me
I am truly sorry to hear that this has happened. I recently had the same thing happen to me. The thieves wanted the seats so bad that, they overlooked everything else in the car... Including the cash in my ashtray (close to $200 bucks). Also, They decided to perform this task during a blizzard in which they politely remove the snow from around my car in order to break-in. ... And yes, the car was full of snow. On that same day, there were close to 20 cars hit within a 30 mile radius.
I know exactly how you feel / felt. I am still waiting to get my car back from the insurance company / repair shop.

To be honest.. I just got it back today. Progressive ( They SUCK) did everything to avoid replacing the seats. They even tried to stick some oil-stained junkyard "BS" in the car. They / I settled by getting $3500 plus the crappy replacements.
Also, I would suggest that you "eat" the towing cost and take it to your preferred shop to have the work done. The body shop that worked on my car did not have a clue how to put my car back together (... and things are still not properly installed).

Sad man, but I can say welcome to the club. Someone broke into mine in front of my parent's house, and they live in a safer town than me! They took the entire front bumper, HIDs, wing, gauges, and tools.
I also thought the key less entry was an alarm
That's what insurance is for mate. I got Progressive to cut me a check, then took it to one of their preferred shops with my own repair instructions...SE lip, weld holes in trunk, paint a side skirt I messed up, and a couple of other things...worked out well in the end.
