This guy is spot on. You cant just go by the 10.5 hotside as 2005 have a 10.5 hotside also.

It should unless a previous owner put the car back to stock and used a turbo from 03-04. keep in mind that there is still a difference between an 05 turbo and an 06.

^^That is correct..the "c" distinguishes the 9 turbo^^

2005 8's also have 10.5 hotside so you cannot go by that alone.

it was bone stock when i got it, glad i didnt buy a 10.5 hotside on ebay a month back now haha i would have been sad.

I believe 2005 evo 8s have 10.5 hotside.

Evo 9's have 10.5 also BUT more blades on the turbine?

^ The 05 8 has a 10.5 hotside but the smaller 8 "coldside" turbo. See the link in a post above for a side by side picture of the two.
